What to Prepare for a Custom BaZi Bracelet

Identify the calendar before entering the date
Start by checking whether your recorded birthday uses the Gregorian calendar or the Chinese lunar calendar. For a lunar date, note any leap month. Keep the original family record separate from a date that has already been converted, so the same date is not converted twice. If you were born overseas, record the local date as it appears in your records. A clear note about what you know is more helpful than filling a gap with a confident-looking guess.
Keep time and place together
Write down the birth time and how precise the information is: a recorded minute, an approximate period or an unknown time. Include the city and country of birth, especially when the date comes from an overseas record. If earlier guidance used a particular time adjustment, mention that alongside the original local time. Keeping these details together creates a useful personal record. It also makes it easier to discuss an uncertainty without silently changing the time to fit a preferred interpretation.
Give the intention a real-life context
Career, prosperity, relationships, protection, study and harmony can all lead a custom brief. Choose the most important intention first, then add one or two secondary priorities if they matter. A career change with a wish for supportive colleagues is easier to shape than a request for everything at once. So is preparing for an examination and wanting a traditional scholarly blessing. A concrete situation gives the design a main theme and helps you compare arrangements with a purpose beyond their appearance.
Bring any existing favorable-element guidance
If you already have a BaZi chart or a favorable-element recommendation, include the relevant parts: the leading direction, supporting directions, the context and any question you still have. You can begin a brief without that document and add information later. The custom page is a place to bring the details together for the bracelet discussion. Your original notes and the reasons behind them tell a fuller story than an isolated element label copied into a form without its explanation.
Measure the wrist and describe the fit
Use a flexible tape around the wrist near the wrist bone without pulling it tight. A marked paper strip and ruler work too. Record the actual wrist measurement, then say whether you prefer a close or slightly relaxed fit. Bead size changes how a bracelet feels, so note any preference. Add materials you like, a gift recipient if relevant, and the meaning you want to preserve. Review the whole brief once before saving it, so personal details, intention and practical fit agree.
